Cambodia Run Challenge, an NGO video
It was great to team up with TGF again to work as a videographer for the Cambodia Run Challenge at the end of 2019.
Mark, Alex and Johnny did a great job and raised much needed funds for TGF. As TGF is a small NGO a large percentage of the money reaches the beneficiaries, so it’s definitely a worthwhile cause. To find about more about the 2020 edition, check out the Cambodia Run website.

I was commissioned by Rulai to shoot 8 video and 8 360º photo panoramas of 2 condos that are being built in BKK1, Phnom Penh.
I used a drone to photograph the images at the exact height of the 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th floors to show prospective clients the view they will have, before the condo has been built.
I stitched the images together, lined all the images up so they had the same centre point, made all the images the same size, cloned in sections that were missing and colour graded all the images.
It would be great to do more this kind of project. I’m also interested in mounting a 360º camera to the drone and shooting VR video from the skies.
Working as a camera operator and photographer for World Animal Protection

Nicolas Axelrod kindly recommended me to work as a camera operator and photographer for World Animal Protection.
After spending almost 4 years working in Mondulkiri on Last of the Elephant Men, it was great to go back to Sen Monorom to catch up with everyone and document the great work Elephant Valley Project are doing.
It was my first time working as a camera operator and a photographer at the same time. It was challenging, but overall good fun. I look forward to doing more of this in the future.
Working as a videographer for Digital Divide Data - Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum Archives Preservation and Digitization Project
I worked as a videographer to document the work DDD has been doing preserving and digitizing the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum’s archives.
It was fascinating to see the work that they were doing and the training that the local team had received to meticulously preserve and digitise the archive. It was also great to see the museum advertising the video on Facebook to get more people to visit the museum.
I was working alongside Simon Toffanello a Phnom Penh based photographer, who kindly put me in contact with DDD. You can see a selection of his images here.
Working as a videographer for Digital Data Divide - Souvannahong and Bounheuang case study
I worked as a videographer on a couple of videos for DDD, a New-York based social enterprise. They train disadvantaged youth in IT and after working for them for a couple of years they can move on to well-paid job in the IT sector.
It was great shooting this video of Souvannahong and Bounheuang in Vientiane, Laos, as they both enjoy their work and are appreciative of the life-changing support DDD provides them with.
